Since we launched three years ago we’ve accumulated a directory of over 2800 New Zealand wedding vendors from all over the country, collected more than 2000 ratings and reviews from real brides and grooms, and helped thousands of kiwis make smart wedding vendors choices. Over this past year some wedding vendors have stood out as consistently exceptional and we want to recognise them for their efforts.
We’re honoring the best of the best in New Zealand weddings, as chosen by the public and by our editors. We hope this will continue an ongoing tradition of awards for excellence in NZ weddings that will be coveted by vendors in this important and challenging market.

Top-rated Wedding Vendors
This is our most prestigious award which is given to the vendors who stood out in their categories for receiving the highest praise from their customers. These are vendors who have the most number of positive official ratings/reviews on WeddingWise. All VIP members receive this award as well as any other vendors who have an exceptional number of great reviews.
People’s Choice Award
Our People’s choice award is given to the 10 vendors who’s WeddingWise profile pages received the most visitors. Since we get a large majority of traffic from search engines this award is a good indication of which vendor’s products and services are in high-demand or are popular with visitors of this site.
Premium Wedding Vendors
The Premium Vendor award is given to all of the Premium Members in our directory. These vendors have chosen, for a small annual fee, to make their WeddingWise profile pages more visible by coming up first in search results and enhancing their listing pages with extra features like extended text, photos, audio, specials/discounts, and more.
Editor’s Choice Award
Our Editor’s Choice Award goes to a small collection of vendors who caught our attention and we wanted to honour. These are hand picked by WeddingWise editors for their unique contribution to the NZ wedding industry or for maintaining and exemplary level of customer service.
