Just a quick note to announce that we’ve made our wedding vendor rating and review system even better!

Previously our rating scale was 0-5. We’ve changed this to 1-5, and replaced the zero rating option with a new option for N/A (not applicable). Before this change, if you left ratings as a guest or family member at a wedding and there were some of the criteria you didn’t know about (e.g. “value for money”) you had to select an average (and possibly ill-informed) score. Now, if you don’t know how to rate an item you can select N/A instead. N/A ratings are not applied to the overall averages.

Because of this change we’ve had to bump up a few zero ratings to a score of one (the new minimum score). No other ratings have been altered.

In other news, WeddingWise has moved to a new web host. We’re now on a much faster and more reliable server. If you’ve been to WeddingWise before you’ve probably already noticed the improvement in loading speeds starting today. If you notice anything odd or receive any error messages during this server transition please let us know.
