Welcome to New Zealand’s premier bridal salons. At Astra Bridal we seek out the best quality and most exciting gowns and accessories for your wedding day. With four stores and our supplier catalogues we can make over 1000 gowns available for selection.
- Our staff are trained to give advice on gown fit, colour, fabric, design to suit your body shape and the style of wedding. Many of our staff have been in the industry for over 20 years, all of them have a passion for weddings.
- Feel free to come in to our salon and browse the range of gowns as well as all the other accessories we have in store.
- Once you decide to try on gowns a consultation is given. Using our knowledge of our collections and your body shape we set to work trying to find the gown that will be perfect for you. You can be confident that the gown is of high quality and workmanship.
- If the gown you try doesn’t fit, then we order one from the designer for you. This can take from six weeks to four months to arrive.
- The last stage is to make any alterations to make the gown fit and to prepare the gown and accessories for the day. All you need to do is come and collect it – all ready for the big day!

This was the first shop that I looked at for my wedding gown. Marion was lovely and really knew what might or might not suit someone. She also was honest if a dress didn’t look quite right.
Unforturately my dream dress wasn’t found in Astra. I wish I had found it at her shop because I would have felt comfortable buying from Astra and I would have known that the dress would been adjusted perfectly if it needed to be.
