A year out from planning our wedding I thought a videographer was a needless expense. Then saw some footage from an upcoming part time photographer/videographer Steph. I was referred to Steph via a old friend, and although in the planning process my then fiancé was never on board with the need for a wedding video, I was so excited to watch all the videos Steph produced during the course of the year leading up to our wedding as Steph became full time. We had 4 photo/videographers in total on the day, and Steph and Robin made it so easy. I’m amazed they could capture so many small moments, when I never even knew they were there. Steph produced our teaser trailer within days of our wedding adding to the wedding weekend hype.  From that point onward my husband fell in love with the video and to my surprise couldn’t stop talking about it.  Steph’s talent was able to turn the biggest sceptic. We loved our Bubblerock experience, and can’t wait to work with them again at two of my own bridesmaids weddings in 2014!

Where do I begin?

I was a long admirer of Bubblerock’s work, long before I was even engaged. When it came time to start wedding planning I knew in my heart that I wanted them to be a part of the day, but was weary of what our wedding budget would allow. We met with Steph & Robin on our short trip back to NZ (we were planning from Sydney!), and our minds were pretty much made up on the spot.

They were both professional, and so passionate about what they do that we both felt we would be in capable hands for our big day.

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to have Steph and Robin film us on the day, and whilst most brides would have a heart attack having this blip in their wedding plans, I really didn’t even have a bad heart flutter. This was because Steph enlisted the help of 2 fellow professionals whom she believed to be their best replacements. Boy was she right! Travis & Jolyon were AMAZING, the friendliest blokes running around us and capturing our moments perfectly.

Steph still did the master editing of our films and I have watched them over and over and over. It was so beautiful. They really captured our personalities and happiness of the day. Totally made me teary and even made my husband teary ... and that’s truly saying something! We have also had family and friends positively comment on the creativity of their films.

I do not regret the decision to have Bubblerock help us AT ALL. In fact I have developed a friendship with Steph and would highly recommend Bubblerock service to anyone needing to make the decision to make their wedding day truly memorable.

We got married in France last summer and were lucky to have the Bubblerock duo as our photographers for our special day. Not only do they deliver incredibly gorgeous photos, they are unbelievably kind, generous, relaxed, and talented professinals and people.

We were a little nervous to be photographed, we usually don’t like seeing ourselves in pictures. But Steph and Robin made us feel at ease and gave us directions when needed. They are also very good at what they do and are capable of bringing out the beauty in everyone and everything. We now have lots of amazing pictures of us, which we love to look at!

Steph and Robin are the best - no question.

From the very beginning, answering all of our questions from afar (we live in London), to our first meeting at their place over wine and cheese, to the day itself they were outstanding.

We never felt a moment’s hesitation in going with them and they looked after us all of the way through.  With everything that you have to worry about when planning and executing a wedding, knowing that you have such great professionals behind the cameras is priceless.

We had our sneak-peek on day one of our honeymoon and could not have been more delighted.  Steph’s ability to take the footage and turn it into something truly special is unbelievable.

If we thought the sneak-peek was good, it was nothing compared to the full video.  We could not have wished for a better way to remember the day by.  Every time we look at it (probably a little too often!) it brings tears to the eyes.  It is that good.

We could not recommend Bubblerock more highly.  You’ll only regret it if you don’t use them.

PS.  We also used some of the old Super 8 cameras for footage.  If you grew up in the 70s or 80s you’ll remember them.  They added something really special and we’d highly recommend.

A videographer was definitely a stretch for our budget, and something that I kept at the back of my mind throughout the entire planning process. Finally, it came time where we had to make a decision, and we just didn’t want to look back and wish we had done it. We took a chance on BubbleRock with a referral from our wedding planners. Our planners had not ever worked with Steph and Robin on a wedding, but had done other projects together, so it was out on a limb for us.

Steph and Robin came all the way to San Diego to film our special day. We hit it off straight away. They are both so much fun and were wonderful to work with. We knew from their other videos that ours would be great, but when we finally saw it we were blown away. Somehow from just a few emails and knowing us for only a few hours they really captured the essence of our day. Our video will be a great way to truly remember the range of emotions we felt that day. I’m so glad we didn’t forgo a videographer and I truly would recommend BubbleRock to any couple!

We used bubblerock for our wedding and are very thankful we did. At first i thought ill just get some random cheap video package off the web. But after we seen their trailers we decided to go with bubblerock.

The day was so easy and they were never in the way..they worked beautifully with my videographer. It was perfect. When i received my trailer i cried! It definitely captured the moment beautifully. Half year on, watching the film still gives me butterfly in the tummy.

Ill totally recommend investing in videographer for ur wedding as it just speaks so much louder than photos!!!

If ever anyone asks me for advice on wedding planning, I always say “get a video.” and then straight after that I say “use BubbleRock”. Truly, it was one of the best and easiest decisions we made. Their work spoke for itself - unique, beautiful and unlike anything we had seen from other vendors - and believe me, we had TRAWLED through vendors. What was initially an afterthought and nearly didn’t make it into our budget has become one of our most treasured mementos of our wedding day. Steph and Robin were so professional yet fabulous company throughout the day. My husband had dreaded the thought of being on video camera yet Steph and Robin are so unobtrusive and lovely he forgot to be paranoid and got on with the business of having a great day.

Everyone we have shown the video to has remarked at how they wish they had the same - from the music selection, to the beautiful cinematography and editing, their work is just stunning. They deserve all the credit given to them and more.

Brides and grooms to be - don’t think twice about getting a video and choosing Bubblerock to capture it. Believe me, you will be glad you did. Their talent is worth every cent.

Most of all, we are lucky to count Steph and Robin amongst our circle of friends as a result of meeting them through our wedding.

Everything Steph and Robin touch turns to gold. They have a serious gift and talent for breathing life into the weddings they capture on film. I’ve been in love with their work from the first time I saw it. We organised our March 2011 wedding on Waiheke from London. The decision to have a video taken of the day was a last minute one and without a doubt one of the best we made.

As we only got in contact with Steph & Robin a week before the actual day we didn’t have a chance to discuss arrangements in person, but every email was answered promptly and in detail, so we felt at ease immediately.

On the day of the wedding Steph & Robin exceeded all our expectations. Not only did they turn out to be the loveliest people you could wish to meet, they also were so wonderful to have around. They worked brilliantly with our photographer (Jo Wickham - also fab!) and every other vendor involved in making our day special. Every detail of the day was captured effortlessly.

Our biggest concern was that we would be nervous in front of the camera, but for the most part we did not even notice Steph & Robin filming and when we did, we just had fun with them and they managed to make us feel like stars.

Both Steph & Robin were with us from the time of getting ready to the first dance and by the end of the day they felt like friends.

As for the result - WOW! Steph & Robin shot wonderful pictures, but even more importantly they managed to capture the essence of the day. They created something truly special and the choices they made in editing the film - from the inclusion of the Super 8 to the choice of music - were perfect. We watch the film regularly and we are transported back to our wedding and the wonderful emotions of the occasion every single time. There work has been invaluable in making friends and family who where not able to come to NZ for the wedding feel part of the experience. We can’t thank Steph & Robin enough for this.

To sum it up - BOOK THEM - you will not regret it.

I was so fortunate to find Bubblerock when researching for vidoegraphers for our wedding. When I saw Steph and Robins work on their website I was so impressed….their work looked AMAZING!So I was super excited that they would be capturing the memories for us.

In the lead up to the wedding, I met with Steph a few times to discuss plans etc. She was always so friendly and soooooo excited about working with us on the big day! When our wedding day finally arrived, Steph was with us for the duration! She was so much fun and worked with our photographer like the two of them had been working together for years (but they only met that day!). As nervous as I thought I might be with a video camera around…I didn’t even seem to notice Steph filming! She worked so efforlessly to capture every hearfelt moment for us.

After our wedding we disappeared on our Honeymoon. I was really keen to re-live memories of the wedding as soon as possible, so I was so excited to get an email from Steph within a few days with a glimpse of our film. What can I say, I couldn’t stop watching it! The music, the super 8 film snippets, the way in which the emotion was captured was truly unbelievable…and I’m not just saying that!

Steph and Robin created something truly magical for us to watch over..and over again through the years to come. Many friends and family have seen the film and can’t believe how truly beautifully they captured the day for us… I absolutely 10000% recommend them if you want something truly special created for you.
