Gracehill was amazing and I would recommend them to anyone wanting an amazing wedding!

Clinton and I are both living in Canada and decided to get married in NZ.  We flew over to look at numerous venues and finally narrowed it down to two (Gracehill being one of these).  In talking to Warren about everything Gracehill offered it was clear Gracehill was for us. 

Everything went so smoothly it was amazing.  We had so much fun planning everything and it didn’t even seem stressful.  Warren and Linda were fantastic to deal with, very professional, but also very understanding as we wanted a few things changed from the wedding standard.  Warren and Linda also gave us great advice about which vendors to use for flowers, photos etc given we were organizing everything from Canada.  All the vendors turned out amazing and given they had worked so well with Gracehill gave us a few perks others didn’t offer.  The food was amazing - I was just sad that we didn’t get to eat the canapes as we were having our photos taken!

To anyone that is thinking of choosing a wedding Venue, Gracehill is amazing and makes the process so easy but the day so special.  Warren and Linda are a pleasure to work with and I would recommend Gracehill to anyone!

Gracehill Vineyard Estate was stunning on the day - everything went to clock work with the service and ceremony flawless. The staff at Gracehill worked tirelessly to create a sublime “Big Fab Gay Wedding” for us, making it a very special and certainly one of the most memorable occasions of our lives.

The setting is picturesque, the water the vineyard all tranquil, magical! All the little finishing touches offered by Gracehill; table settings, seat covers, fairy lights, were all immaculate. It is no wonder they call this Hill - Grace! If we weren’t in awe before the “Grace” then after came the sumptuous food, from the starters through to dessert, it exceeding all expectations - in quality and in presentation.

Everybody, all the guests - our closest friends and family enjoyed themselves immensely, easily nurtured by the festive spirit of Gracehill. Ours was a celebration of love - fourteen years in the making, and was certainly complimented by this stunning and classy wedding venue.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to GraceHill Vineyard Estate - Warren, Linda and all their talented staff for helping make our Civil Union - our “Wedding” just so special - and now that the Marriage Amendment Bill has gone through we just might have to to it all over again!

The beautiful surroundings have provided us with some picture perfect photos.
The food - what can I say -is amazing- our guests raved over the food. As hard as it was only choosing 2 options for the set menu, we were so glad that we went for the set menu versus the buffet.
The recommended suppliers were a great starting point for other services- we were able to use My Wedding Flowers- Angelli did an amazing job and this was in part- down to her knowledge of Gracehill.

The minute we first stepped foot on the property only a week after being engaged we were greeted exceptionally, making an easy decision for us to have our Wedding at Gracehill without seeing any other venues. We had a wonderful wedding at Gracehill.  We received a large number of compliments from our guests regarding the venue, the service and the food. 

The planning stage was professional and very reassuring, all of my requests were met with no fuss and on the day when my family were setting up the tables, the staff cheerfully went out of their way to be helpful.

Gracehill really is the picture perfect place to get married, the grounds and venue are so beautiful and well-kept, it made the perfect back-drop for our photographs and everyone commented on how gorgeous it is. 

The service was just amazing, several guests mentioned they enjoyed watching the well-organized procession of wait staff bringing out the meals, and we loved the fact that each table was served all at once so the whole table could all eat together.  All of the food was amazing and we are still receiving compliments about it months later, the Feijoa Brulee was a particular favourite among the guests (and myself) being described as heavenly! 

Even though some rain drops came falling the staff went completely with the flow – that Warren came outside immediately with the white umbrellas and ensured our guests could mingle having their champagne and canapés in the dancing room comfortably was just great.  They were so well organized that I felt like I didn’t have to worry about a thing which couldn’t have been better and allowed me to focus on enjoying the day.  I didn’t even think about the bar tab until well into dinner and my husband said he had been kept in the loop and ensured that our tab wasn’t downed all at once.  As far as value for money is concerned we feel our experience at Gracehill made it worth every cent.

To us Gracehill is the perfect mix of country and luxury that was just right for our big day.

Kristy and I and our group of 74 friends and family had a wonderful afternoon and evening at GraceHill. 

Warren and Linda made everything easy and gave great references for people who were able to help out with the arrangements.

The venue was exactly what we needed, the ceremony, photos and reception were all in one place so we didnt have to abandon our guests for ages to get the photos done. 

The staff were excellent, professional, friendly, accomodating. 

We have had so many comments about how good the food was, one of our guests said that the lamb was the best he had ever had - and everyone who tried the licorice creme brulee was amazed - great food, great service.

Warren, Linda, Ronald and the team at Gracehill, I can’t thank you enough for the amazing wedding day that my family and friends experienced.

Right from the start Warren, Linda and Ronald were able to answer any queries that I had - no matter how silly they seemed. Emails were replied to promptly, and they were always happy to offer advice.

The venue is amazing, when I first laid eyes on the pictures from the website I knew that Gracehill would be where I was going to get married.

The day went by without a hitch (not loving the traffic heading out West though, be mindful of that). Ronald kept us in the loop throughout the entire afternoon and evening, no matter how busy he was.

We have had rave reviews about the food from our guests, and the portion sizes were huge! (Many of them go on about the marrow bon bon). Ronald and his team of chefs were also able to create amazing vegetarian dishes as well.

Overall the day was stunning, memorable and with Warren, Linda, Ronald and the Gracehill team’s help, I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

I really can’t fault the level of service or attention to detail offered by Gracehill. The owners and staff alike did everything they needed and more to ensure our wedding was absolutely perfect. The food is absolutely amazing with a level of service that is hard to beat. We are still getting a huge amount of compliments from our guests about both the food and the venue. It is easily some of the best food I have had at a wedding ( and a lot of restaurants). I really have to take my hat off to Ronald and his team of chefs for creating such a stunning and delicious menu. Warren is always at hand to ensure everything is running smoothly and was in constant contact with our mc, but in such a discreet manner, you wouldn’t even know he was there. The venue itself is just gorgeous, with the lake, the bridge over the stream, the willow trees, vineyard. I think our photographer couldn’t actually keep up with the options. The helipad was also a huge bonus so we could easily head off to the west coast for some photos. Even down to the smaller details such as the hand rolled towels in the bathroom. Everything is taken care of and is one less thing you need to worry about on your wedding day. Planning my wedding in Auckland from Brisbane was far from easy however Warren, Linda and Ronald from Gracehill made the process seamless.  I chose Gracehill as the venue for our ceremony and reception after searching endlessly on the internet.  I was drawn to Gracehill not only because the venue looked beautiful but also the menus looked amazing.  These were the two most important things for my husband and I. The photos of Gracehill looked amazing and I was thrilled when I finally got to visit Gracehill 3 months out from my wedding to find that it looked just as amazing (if not better) in person than in the photos.  I liaised with Ronald and Warren via phone and email and they answered my many questions patiently, thoroughly and professionally (as I am sure they have a million times before).  On the day, everything went perfectly and I received endless comments from the guest on the staff’s friendliness and professionalism.  Also Ronald’s organisation of little touches such as the music and guiding us through the events of the day added to the specialness of the day and made my day a lot easier.  Our guests are still talking about how beautiful a venue Gracehill is and how amazing the food was.  The lamb shanks and the mushroom ravioli will be talked about for years!  I am so grateful to the crew at Gracehill for helping to make a day that so much planning, effort and emotion went into a massive successful.  I wouldn’t change a thing.  So thank you Gracehill!!

You can tell you have highly trained chefs and to prepare that many dishes of that standard is amazing. Lots to choose from on the menu and plenty of food.
It was the personal touch that impressed us the most. You played the music for us, you were totally flexible with when we could come and see the venue and the setting up was so easy. All night you came and personally gave me glasses of bubbles.

I am also a professional wedding photographer (www.dillon.co.nz) and have visited and photographed many weddings at Gracehill since my own. Warren, Ronald and the whole team are in my opinion superstars of this industry. This is a team who never stop developing and improving their property and service. They were amongst the very best many years ago, but it is a credit to them that they continue to seek to improve. The menu is seasonal and exciting, the food in sensational.

Very few venues tick all the boxes. Gracehill, in my opinion, is one that does.

Wonderful setting and fantastic staff. It rained on our wedding day and the limo driver was incompetent and could not get the limo up the drive (don’t use American Limo’s) and Warren and his team came down with a tonne of umbrellas for me and my bridesmaids so we wouldn’t get wet. The indoor venue for the ceremony was lovely and totally made up for the crappy weather. We did manage to get out and get some photos taken when the rain stopped and the grounds are just beautiful and all our photos looked great!

I had had difficulties with a previous venue and was organising the wedding with only 6 weeks to go, and Gracehill put me at ease from the beginning. The staff were extremely professional, organised and friendly. The grounds are gorgeous for photos and everything went so smoothly. But the one thing that stood out above all was the FOOD, it was fabulous, particularly the canapes, I couldn’t have asked for anything better in any restaurant and it was done on such a big scale. It really topped off a perfect day.
