We stopped at the venue by chance after trawling round the area and quickly decided it was for us, loving the indoor/ outdoor options and that WE could make the decisions rather than doing things the ‘wedding’ way.

Holly was flexible and open to our ideas, happy to make adjustments to fit us, such as afternoon tea then banquet dinner on one big u shaped table.
On the day Holly and the staff were great - setting up, service etc., and the food was amazing and plentiful.

The only negative, and a very, very slight one, was the corkage price on Pimms ( being British and having afternoon tea, it was essential!!!)

I am writing this review on behalf of myself, my husband, and every guest who attended our wedding. I could not keep count of how many guests came up to me and commented on this beautiful venue and the amazing food.
Annette and her team were so helpful throughout the planning stages and made it all so easy for us on the big day. The food was better then I have had in top restaurants and I only wish I could have eaten a lot more then I managed. The waiters were all so professional and friendly. I cannot rate this venue more highly and would recommend it to anyone looking for one.

Oh my gosh I don’t even know where to begin.  The stunning venue and atmosphere were exactly what we were after for our wedding day.  And after meeting Holly, we were definitely sold! She was so lovely and really open to making our dream wedding a reality.  The whole planning process went so smooth, there wasn’t a detail that Holly had overlooked.  It was also really great to know that whenever I had a question or a concern, Holly was only an email away to put me at ease.  On the day of the wedding I got the surprise of my life, everything was even better than I had imagined.  All of our decorations and details were set out and it was great to not have to worry about doing that ourselves.  The wedding day ran so smoothly due to Holly and her fantastic team.  The food was AMAZING! We got so many comments from our guests that it was the best wedding buffet that they had ever tried!

I had my wedding at kumeu valley estate recently. We fell in love with the venue from the moment we walked in.  We had the lovely holly who said from the onset that they treat every wedding as if there own and I found that to be true all the way through our year long engagement/planning.  I love that a wedding planner is assigned to every couple and they certainly help every step of the way. Beautiful setting! We heard great reviews regarding food and this was important to us and we were not disappointed was truly exceptional. So impressed and happy we choose this amazing venue.

We married at KVE on Friday 28th October 2011, and cannot recommend Annette and her team highly enough.

We were made to feel so welcome from our first visit, and it was an easy decision for us to book the venue on the spot thanks to the time and effort Annette gave to talking us through the process and all our options.

We had regular email contact and a very thorough onsite meeting in the lead up to the wedding, and while we were doing a lot ourselves and were conscious of our limited budget, Annette and her team went the extra mile to ensure we had a dream day.

The venue itself is gorgeous, the staff are excellent, and the food is AMAZING (I only wish I had eaten more of it!). We chose to have our photography all on site as we didn’t see the point in leaving such beautiful grounds, and it was a nice way to stay close to our guests.

Annette was a calm and reassuring presence throughout the day, quietly managing everything efficiently without us even noticing.

At the end of the night, the kitchen staff prepared a platter of cheeses, fruits, crackers and desserts for us to take away with us which was a really thoughtful tough.

We would not hesitate to recommend KVE as a wedding venue - it exceeded all of our expectations.

Organising an event from Germany was not easy but you captured all the detail from email exchanges and it was well organised upon arrival.

This made a huge difference and enabled us to relax and enjoy all the special moments of the day as everything took place as planned. We had a spring wedding at KVE, and it was absolutely perfect. One of the biggest reason for us to go with KVE is that it had a stunning outdoor ceremony area, but its indoor option was equally as stunning. Given the unpredictable AKL weather, I thought it was really important to have a good plan B. Although in the end, we were lucky enough to have clear blue sky on our big day!

The decorated venue was so gorgeous and exactly what we wanted, right down to the finer details. The food was amazing, and the stuff member were friendly and helpful. Annette and Holly took care of everything that evening, so I was able to just relax and enjoy myself.

Kumeu Valley Estate is nestled amongst gorgeous trees and countryside which offer great photo locations. They also have ceremony options to suit anyone’s needs, or weather. We liked the fact that it’s slightly off the beaten track and that we couldn’t hear any traffic during our special day.

We always wanted a Winter/Spring wedding and felt Kumeu Valley Estate was the only option for us. The warm wood and rustic barn feel was perfect for our dusky rose and white crystal themed wedding. The ambience of the fire during our ceremony through to the candle lit guest tables, offered a warm and intimate setting.

Annette and the KVE staff were amazing from the first meeting through to the big day. From the beginning Annette was nothing but excited for us and our special day, and made sure all our ideas and requests were taken care of. Annette’s attention to detail ensured a flawless day for us and our guests. Annette was a real pleasure to work with!

Our menu was amazing - there were an abundance of choices. It all tasted fantastic! And they were willing to adjust the menu to suit our tastes and requirements. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful with whatever we needed.

We could not have asked anymore of Annette and her team at KVE, they did the most amazing job and we would very highly recommend this venue to anyone.

It is my absolute pleasure to write a review for Kumeu Valley Estate.  Just over a week ago my partner and I stood in front of the roaring fire place at KVE, surrounded by our loved ones, said our vows and became Mr & Mrs Barry.  I can highly recommend this venue to any couple who want their wedding to be warm, intimate, fun and most importantly stress free!!

Our venue search started in January this year. We arrived at KVE on a rainy, cold, windy “summers” day.  Despite the weather outside, KVE was warm and inviting - the exposed timber beams give the venue a rustic feel, while the open plan and layout provides elegance and charm. We instantly knew that KVE was the place to be.

We met with Annette who was absolutely lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and she was more than happy to make things work to ensure that our wedding day was exactly what we wanted it to be.

After booking the venue, communication going forward was mainly via telephone and email.  Annette and Holly were both extremly quick to respond and nothing was too much trouble.

Closer to the wedding we met with Holly to arrange the finer details of our day. I cannot thank Holly enough for all of her hard work. Holly is extremely organised. So much so that I did not have to worry a thing. I knew if there was something that needed to be done that she would take care of it and that it would be done to the highest standard - thank you so much Holly.

Our day was absolutely amazing and more than we could have ever wished for. The venue was beautiful - food was fantastic and we enjoyed every single minute of it.  Our guests have all said how beautiful the day was.

I cannot express enough how great our day was.  For any couple wanting a beautiful venue that is fun, relaxed and completely stress free you need to contact Annette and Holly from KVE.

We started the daunting task of choosing a venue by visiting Kumeu Valley Estate(KVE) and were greeted by the lovely Annette. She was so thorough and well prepared and the venue just beautiful! We did however go to a number of other venues as we thought we better not go with the first thing we had seen. After a very disappointing search we knew that KVE was the place for us.

We met with Annette a number of times and she was always so very helpful, professional and well prepared. Helping us with every decision we had to make and making the process seem so easy.

On the wedding day the venue looked amazing with every detail that we had requested being in its perfect place. Throughout the night Annette and her team were very very helpful and thoughtful. Making the night effortless and allowing us to enjoy every wonderful minute.
We have received soo many complements on the delicious and ample catering and intimate atmosphere from our guests who were as impressed as we were.

Kumeu Valley Estate was the only venue we considered for our Wedding.  It has the most amazing grounds, photo settings and can cater for all weather options.  It is relaxed but at the same time elegant giving a feeling of style and comfort.

Our ceremony was all planned to be held outside, however our NZ weather had other plans and so within 5 min of me arriving, KVE staff had relocated everything inside to their cosy intimate indoor area.  It looked amazing, and we were actually pleased we ended up indoors.

KVE catered for both our ceremony and cocktail style reception so our guests appreciated staying at one location. Our guests enjoyed a wide selection of canapes and other delights.

Annette, from the start to finish, was amazing, anything we suggested she was fine with, she has a wonderful calming disposition - nothing is too much trouble.  A special mention must also go to the rest of the staff on the day - everyone commented on how friendly and helpful everyone was.

To sum up our day - WOW Truly Magical !

Throughout the planning process Holly was amazing, she helped us sort everything out and I knew we were in good hands.

Our wedding day was amazing and all the staff at KVE were awesome, we had our 3 month old daughter with us and they helped in every way, it was no problem at all for them.  The reception flowed seamlessly with plenty of staff around to serve drinks and make sure our guests were having a great time. The food was amazing and the place looked stunning, we couldn’t have asked for anything more!

As soon as we saw Kumey Valley Estate, we knew it was exactly the wedding venue we were looking for. As you will have seen for yourself, it’s in a stunning, natural location and the reception area is relaxed yet modern.

From our first visit there to several meetings via skype from London, the team at KVE were consistently friendly, open, reliable, helpful and professional. Even up until last minute changes to the wedding timetable the day before, Annette was flexible and relaxed - she completely put me at ease as I knew we were in excellent hands.

With everything else there was to worry about and organise leading up to our wedding, it was so invaluable to know that on the day we could completely relax, knowing that the staff at KVE would have everything taken care of. They exceeded our expectations with the level of service and genuine care they put into making our wedding day so special and I’m happy to say everything ran smoothly thanks to all their help.

The food was another highlight and many of our guests commented on how incredible it was (we went for the plated menu option) and how prompt the wait staff were with serving all 90+ guests.

Both my husband and I would highly recommend Kumeu Valley Estate as a wedding venue if you’re looking for somewhere that boasts a beautiful, private location that serves an excellent standard of food and has attentive, caring staff.

The day went off perfectly! KVE catered for our every need and request and went over and above what was expected of them.
Prior to the wedding, the staff’s experience proved to be extremely valuable. They suggested ideas and solutions to potential problems we hadn’t even considered!
We had many comments from our guests that the food and service was exceptional, we had several guests with unique food allergies that were completely catered for and I personally loved the buffet menu that KVE created for us.
They were so organized and friendly, it’s a pity you only get married once! We would love to have the day again, with and share it with KVE.

We originally booked for 2011 but after falling pregnant with our son we decided to move the date out a year and were very glad we did this as we were able to make the most of Kumeu Valley Estate.

Kumeu Valley Estate was the second venue we looked at and fell in love with the beautiful rustic look it has.

Holly and her team were fantastic Dallas and I have said on many occasions that words cannot describe the experience we had. Holly and the service of her staff were extremely professional and we have had so many wonderful comments from our guests to say what a wonderful day they had.

We were also extremely happy with the food and how it was presented and served

Holly was amazing and her professionalism allowed us to relax on the day even when we had to go to Plan C for the ceremony location.

I was married on 4th February 2012 at Kumeu Valley Estate.  It was an incredible day and one that wouldn’t have been the same should it not have been for Annette and the team.

The venue itself is gorgeous - it has a lot of character, while at the same time gives you the opportunity to personalise and theme it to suit your day.  Annette made it all so easy - I had total confidence that my day would go ahead without a hitch - and if something did come up (as it did) - I was none the wiser with Annette taking control of the situation and sorting it all out!

We were really thrilled with Kumeu Valley Estate! 

We originally booked without having seen it (as we live overseas) and we only saw went there to meet with Annette 6 months after booking.  We were blown away by the setting and quite happy with our choice in venue from the initial visit. 

Communication was a little slow via email sometimes (hard organising from another country), but everything was dealt with well and all our of questions were answered.

At the rehearsal and on the wedding day, Annette was so relaxed.  Nothing was a worry for her.  We were very impressed with everything - the set up of the pergola area was fantastic, as was the main dining area.  The food was also so yum and we were very impressed by the individual service of the head table (I didn’t know this was going to happen until it did).

KVE is a 5 star wedding venue in our eyes and we would definitely recommend to anyone.

We had a perfect day and this was made all the better by the fantastic venue! The atmosphere was amazing with all the candles and the well tended garden. We received so many comments about how great the food and service was. Holly our wedding planner was super helpful for all the preparations leading up to the day and on the day itself. My husband and I got married at Kumeu Valley Estate on a beautiful sunny day in November last year.

We looked at several other wedding venues before we looked at this one, as soon as we had finished out meeting with Annette we knew it was the venue for us.

Annette and the staff at Kumeu helped to make the planning of our wedding a lot easier, the grounds are beautiful, the food is amazing! And it had plenty of space for our 130 guests. All the guest kept raving on about how beautiful it was and how good the food looked and tasted.

We had an amazing day at Kumeu Valley Estate.

We had looked at multiple wedding venues during the first stages of planning our big day. Kumeu Valley Estate definately stood out to us for multiple reasons. It is a beautiful venue in a beautiful setting with lots of different ceremony options and back up if the weather is not great, Annette is very organised so you are sure that nothing will be forgotten or left out.

On our wedding day it was drizling a bit and a bit muddy on the grass, so we had to go with option B which was inside by the fireplace. In the end I was really pleased that we had our ceremony inside, it has such a cozy and romantic atmosphere.

The food was amazing, everyone commented on how great it was, including the very attentive service. I don’t think that anyone went hungry or thirsty for a second throughout the night. The atmosphere of the venue is so amazing especially with all the tea light candles. And all the kids were having a ball running around in the garden.
There is absolutely nothing I would change about our day and it is all thanks to Kumeu Valley Estate and their recommendations too.

We held our wedding reception at Kumeu Valley Estate in late January and were so delighted with how it all went. Annette was a pleasure to deal with and was thorough and flexible. We had a few unusual requests that we put to her and nothing was a problem, she helped us make them happen. Our guests raved about the food, with many saying it was the best wedding food they’d ever eaten. The serving staff that night were impeccable, seamless and fast and took great care of our guests. My Wife and I spent a long time looking for just the right venue, and as soon as we met Annette and saw how beautiful Kumeu Valley Estate was we knew that was the place for us.

Annette’s enthusiasm and passion for what she does was visible as soon as we met with her, and her professionalism made us feel that we were in very safe hands.

The venue itself is outstanding, with great contingency for bad weather. It also offers many great photo opportunities, and is close to destinations such as the west coast beaches, or the local vineyard vines should you choose to go off site for some of your photos.

On the big day, all of the team at Kumeu Valley Estate were amazing, I have had the opportunity to now talk with many of our guests about what they thought of the venue, Not a bad word was said, and two of the things that really stood out were the level and quality of the food, and the attitudes of all the staff. So often those are the two areas that let down function venues, but not at Kumeu Valley Estate. The staff there all seemed to put 110% into making sure that our guests and Bridal party were all looked after, and enjoying our special day.

My Bride and I had an amazing day, we wouldn’t change a thing, and Annette and her team were a big part In ensuring that we enjoyed it so much.

We had Annette as our wedding planner for our reception. I can not recommend a person, venue, company better suited for a stress free wedding experience. KVE was BEAUTIFUL! Food was AMAZING!

Where to start to describe this place.

Firstly, the blessing of getting information and ideas from Annette. She was prompt, friendly, down to earth and very professional at all times. This woman listens to her clients desires!

After deciding to put a deposit down and confirm our choice things just became smoother. Annette would send us everything we needed and gave us plenty of notice for everything. She seemed to be waiting for nearly all my emails as her responses were almost straight away.

We became captured by KVE the first time we walked in. The openness, comfort and space of the place was just perfect. there was so much room for everything we could want.

As we ran through the ideas and options Annette would simply say words to the effect “consider it done”. I can’t explain how much stress this removes. As it was a one cost covers everything and seemed we only needed to bring the people along, KVE looked to be better than a dream.

On the day, everything was set before we came. No family member or friend had to rush to help set-up. it was all done for us.

We had a winter wedding at KVE. We knew the weather wouldn’t be great so we were looking for a great indoor venue. We found it in KVE. It was everything we could’ve wanted in a venue and on the day, everything was beyond what we could’ve ever wanted. The email process leading up to the day was a little slower than we expected with replies for updates, but the day itself turned out to go off without a hitch. We had the whole ceremony and reception inside, and for our small group of 50 it was just perfect. The room was comfortable, rustic, and felt very warm. The food and service was amazing, and since I supervise at a large Auckland based catering company, I know what to look for! We just couldn’t have had a better venue for our wedding. All of our guests commented on how wonderful KVE was and it was just great. Thank you Annette for a wonderful day and to all your staff that was there on the night.

Ever since we got engaged in Italy it was our dream to get married at a vineyard. We looked at so many venues up in Kumeu and as soon as we saw Kumeu Valley Estate we knew that this was our venue! The rustic look with a vineyard right across the road, it fitted our theme perfectly. Annette was fantastic and so accommodating, she was always there to offer advice and support. The day of wedding the sun was shining and the sky was blue, the venue was stunning, the rustic look and relaxing and romantic atmosphere it offered really was so special. We had 160 guests and they all loved the venue. The food was fantastic. It was the most amazing day in our lives and was really an occasion to remember! We loved Kumeu Valley Estate from the moment we walked in at the open day. The high wooden ceiling and fairy lights gave it that magical feeling we were looking for.

We had our eye on this venue since it was called Rivermill.  With the change to Kumeu Valley Estate we had no choose but to have our wedding here, especially with the additional features added recently.

We wouldn’t have changed anything about the venue and the service we received both before, during and after.  It was of the highest standard.

Jon and I were so grateful for the help that we recieved from Kumeu Valley.  We were orgainising our wedding from the UK and they were amazing at communicating with both of us and also my parents in NZ.  Nothing was ever to much of a hassle for them from organising our own combination of their wonderful menu and answering our continual questions.  On the day of the event they were even more amazing.  I had come down with a stomach bug and they were able to provide me with a bed to snooze on during the evening and they were also very flexible with the running of the evening due to my illness!

Kumeu Valley was recommended to us by a friend along with two other venues. Once we met with Annette at this venue we didn’t look any further!
The professionalism, stunning grounds, and flexibility with options on menu’s and alcohol really suited us. The wedding day was the most stunning event and every thing ran so smoothly. I would highly recommend this venue.

We had the most amazing day.  The stress was totally taken off us so that we could enjoy spending time with family and friends.

KVE was only the second venue we looked at, but once we had walked in we knew it was the venue for us.  And that was before all the fairy lights and flowers!!

Annette and Katy were amazing leading up to and the staff were outstanding on the day.  They were all very professional, courteous, helpful (with the oldies), and generally a very well trained lot!
The food was sensational, the wine chilled, the beer cold and the music groovy.  KVE’s food and booze packages cater for everyone.

Our day was totally relaxed, nothing ran behind time and all of our guests enjoyed themselves immensely -alot even mentioning it was one of the best weddings they had been to.

We would safely recommend KVE to anyone who wants an amazing day that you both will never forget.

Annette and Katy and their team at Kumeu Valley Estate ensure that our wedding day was just perfect!  The venue, staff, food, service, and every little detail absolutely exceeded our expectations and we knew from the first time we met Annette that we were in safe hands.  Katy and Annette were fantastic at answering all the emails I sent, and they were so friendly…they made my husband and I feel like our wedding day was the most important day of their lives - what more could you ask.

Without a doubt I would recommend KVE to absolutely anyone.  It is such a beautiful, stylish, relaxed, yet specatular venue with amazing food, but it’s the staff that make KVE so unique - they are just the icing on the cake, and I simply can not speak highly enough of the experience they gave us and our wedding guests.

This was the 2nd venue we looked at and we did not need to look at any others, this venue was stunning and on meeting Annette and Katy we were soon put at ease. They were both very knowledgable and professional and i knew i would be safe with them.
The whole planning process was made so easy with the help of Katy as our wedding coordinator, she was amazing and during this time i really considered her more like a friend! KVE really went out of their way to answer all my questions, allow me to bring my family for ‘look throughs’ and were really on the ball with details and time schedules.
Our day was fantastic, not a problem at all. Just having Katy there made me at ease and from my arrival with a glass of water, to a hug from her at the end of the night i was blown away by everything. Our guests still comment on the food and particularly the service. If we could do it all over again we wouldnt change a single thing!

KVE was the second venue we looked at and i knew as soon as i walked in the doors that this was the place for me.  We booked that day.

My experience leading up to the day was painless, i felt that this was one area i didn’t need to stress about.

Annette is amazing i felt like i could totally trust her to look after everything.  We also used a couple of her preferred suppliers that were just as amazing, gorgeous flowers & great DJ.  Compared to other venues KVE is fantastic value and there were no hidden surprises.

Our wedding day was incredible, everything exceeded my expectations, the place looked stunning & there was not one hitch that i know of.  I had tonnes of comments about the huge food selection and how good it was.  A huge number of guests told me that it was the best wedding they had ever been to!

Me and my husband would definitely recommend KVE for any occasion.

There is not one thing I could fault about Kumeu Valley Estate. Annette and Katy and the team did an absolutely amazing job and the whole event ran so smoothly. They were professional, as well as being flexible and approachable - which made my husband and I feel relaxed and confident that the ceremony and reception would be well taken care of, so we could enjoy the day without stressing.

The food was delicious and very plentiful (we went for the buffet option) and the drinks flowed nicely. What I really liked was the drinks package option, where you pay per person for a certain number of hours, instead of on consumption. This way you are all paid up before hand and don’t need to keep worrying about the bar tab during the night.

The venue looked stunning and so pretty with all the fairy lights and tea light candles. Having only really been out there during the day time prior to the wedding, I knew that it was a beautiful venue, however at night it surpassed my expectations. I had one friend tell me it was the prettiest wedding she had ever been to.

We have had so many compliments from guests about the food, drinks and the venue. Everyone had so much fun, which was exactly what we wanted.

It is a little more expensive than some other venues, however the service in planning leading up to the day, and on the day, as well as the quality of food, drinks etc is completely worth it.

It was just perfect and we both couldn’t be happier that we chose Kumeu Valley Estate.

Kumeu Valley Estate was the first & last venue we looked at for our special day. We were completely taken with the rustic country charm of the bell tower & surrounding buildings which have superb indoor outdoor flow.

Annette was great to deal with. We wanted a cocktail style wedding which she hadn’t done previously but this was no problem. She gave great advise on things such as how much food to have available to guests to wearing heel protectors to stop me from sinking into the grass when walking down the isle.

She a great selection of florists, photographers, djs, & bands that she regularly deals with. Some of which we used &  we are very pleased we did.

On the day we wanted it to be relaxed, fun & romantic. All of which were achieved. The fairy lights & tea lights certainly helped set the mood.
The guests were blown away with the venue & the excellent service they received. They are still talking about it!

We would definitely recommend Kumeu Valley Estate to others.

Never have I been to a wedding where there has been so much feedback from the guests about the venue (so i’m very grateful this one was mine).  Over half of our guests were from outside of New Zealand & I think Annette, Katy & the team really showcased Kiwiana attitude & beauty.  The main reason I chose this venue was because Annette & Katy were soooo obliging with all of my odd requests - there was absolutely nothing that they couldn’t be flexible with (this was not the case with every other venue I visited).  They really understand their business, from catering to all different kinds of guests - even children, making the bridal party so comfortable & exceptional catering.  I cannot recommend them enough!

From our own personal point of view and feedback from many of our friends and family we can say that our wedding was professionaly planed and handled to a very high standard. At a series of meetings we were impressed by the thorough and detailed planning programme undertaken by Annette and her team. No detail however small was overlooked. Choices offered to us were wide and varied and as a result we were able to offer our guests a superb menu and a quality range of drinks. All who attended commented on the quality, range and wonderful presentation. The set up both outside and inside reflected the pride that it taken at the venue in providing excellence. The colours blended together to give the entire setup the wow factor. Service during the entire night was of the highest standard and managed in a friendly professional way. A stressful day proved not to be so thanks to the team at Kumeu Valley Estate. Our sincere thanks for a truely memorable day.

It was only last night that I was looking at pictures of what was the most amazing day in my life and it was all thanks to the wonderful team at KVE.  I searched high and low for that perfect venue and KVE were everything we could have asked for and more.  Not only was this venue value for money but just so helpful…  flexiabe is KVE middle name!!!  Not many venues are willing to make changes like this team and that is what really made our day our own!  Their was never a bad time to contact these ladies and their knowledge and understanding is something I truely appreciate.  If I needed advise, quotes, extra this extra that… deducte this etc etc they would alway do this with a smile.  I felt like family to these ppl and they really wanted to know US.  We were not just a number and they truly cared that we got what we asked for.  We were able to attend the venue as we pleased (although I always gave warning) the grounds are the uttmost pleassure and the surrounding are devine.  I have a few friends marrying in the coming years and trust me I have put my hand up to rave about how amazing KVE are.  The detailed timeline, the food that is not only served piping hot but just such a array of choices from currys to seafood, hot cuts and salads.  Staff that work with a smile and are hands on without a flinge and it was all what we asked for not what they told us we had to have.  I have to give a special mention to Annette Simpkins.  This woman is just fantastic, polite, and more then helpful.  Overall this lady has a estimate of 100+ emails from me.  and each and every one of those emails was catered too!  On the day of my wedding it was Annette waiting for my girls and I with chilled water (timing was perfect)
Once again I can not thank this team enough!  my husband and I had the day of our lives and KVE made it a piece of cake for us.  We are not rich ppl and have def had some hard times even postponing the wedding twice!  So once again we are in depth to this team.  We will never forget how wonderful our day was and how carefree it went.  We did not have to think ONCE!  and that to me is what I call a fairytale.

Kumeu Valley really was meant to be for us as a wedding venue.  The rustic look and beautiful surroundings really makes it a special place.  We had looked at a fair number of venues but as soon as we drove in the driveway we knew it was what we wanted.

The day went absolutely perfectly.  Everything was set up exactly as promised and of course everything went without a hitch (as far as we know)   The food was fantastic.  We had serveral comments after the reception how gorgeous the venue looked and how delicious the food was.

Annette & Katy were fantastic.  Nothing was too much bother and the planning was relaxed and very easy.  Katy was always helpful.  As we arrived on the day we were greeted with water and a smiling face.  Katy even bought out a bowl of water and sponge when i noticed my dress had some marks on it from having photos taken. Nothing was too much trouble.  We were followed around with food and drink prior to dinner.  We were certianly well looked after.

i would definately recomend KVE as a venue for any occasion.

Our wedding plans didn’t start off as well as we had hoped, being double booked at our first venue choice. But now looking back we couldn’t be happier about how things turned out.

We ended up re-booking at Kumeu Valley Estate and they were absolutely wonderful in every way! Annette our wedding planner was so calm and professional, we knew as soon as we met her this was the place for us. The lead up to our wedding was a breeze and the day went off without a hitch.

The venue, service and food were outstanding! A year later our guests still comment on our awesome wedding making special mention of the food (the buffet is beautiful).

I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone, you wont regret it!
