If we could give Mike Steffens more than 5 stars, we would! Mike is a very professional DJ and MC! Mike is humble, able to adapt, genuine and passionate about what he does! He was so easy to work with and the dance floor never cleared! From our first meeting Mike set out everything very clearly and was organised and professional! His equipment was very high quality. Mike incorporated requests plus his own playlist, and had people on the dance floor up until the last song! We all had so much fun!! We highly recommend Mike for anyone looking for a professional MC or anyone looking to have a DJ that is on point when it comes to music selection, from the music before the wedding ceremony, to the cocktail hour music and the music on the dance floor! Guests kept commenting on how much fun the dancing and music was! Thank you so much Mike!

I always imagined I would just use a playlist on my iPod for our wedding music. After putting more thought into it, I realised we should look into what a DJ can offer. We attended a wedding expo and came across Mike. We met a lot of other DJ’s the same day but had a special feeling about Mike and his services. Mike was absolutely fantastic from the first point of contact right through to our special day.  He made the whole process very easy and all of our guests commented how great they thought he was. We did worry about people not dancing but there was always someone on the dance floor. Having Mike there made the whole day stress free and helped it flow smoothly. If anyone has any doubts about whether they need a DJ, I would strongly recommend that they contact Mike,

Mike was very professional and listened to the requests that we made. He was brilliant with the announcements he made to our guests and helped guide our MC in the right direction.

Mike was recommended to us by our celebrant, we had decided to have an MC for the day to help make it run smoothly as we were planning a wedding from overseas, plus the fact that he would co-ordinate all the music for the ceremony was a huge weight off our minds - the last thing you want is the music to not start on cue or cut off halfway or a million other things that can go wrong if you’re just using a speaker and I-pod (which we would have had to use). 
We didn’t get much of a chance to deal with Mike on the wedding day itself but it is his job to entertain and inform the guests and from the feedback I’ve received everyone thought he was fantastic, some guests even thought he was a relative.  When we met him a year before our wedding we also found him really friendly, and on the day everything went without a hitch.  Plus the dance floor was full all night!  A true professional and we would definitely recommend him.

Mike made us feel so relaxed from our first meeting, nothing was too much trouble. Even on the big day he made it so easy for us to just turn up, get married and enjoy ourselves.

From helping us edit songs to be timed to perfection, helping us with our venue sound needs and just supporting us with anything we asked along the way, Mike was a true professional.

The entire day from start to finish rolled naturally and perfectly on time thanks to his fabulous MCing, and once the party started the dance floor was full and it stayed that way until kick out time!

Mike was our MC and DJ, who we hired a couple of months prior to the wedding as our previous DJ was no longer available. Mike was so easy to deal, he communicated with us frequently and made the entire process simple and fun to go through.

We had so many compliments about Mike as our MC and the music, everyone had an amazing time. Thank you for keeping the day on track and for keeping us informed about everything. We are so glad you were our DJ and MC, we couldn’t have imagined anyone better. Thank you for being simply awesome and for putting an amazing soundtrack to our wedding. We appreciate everything you did.

I can’t recommend Mike enough - we just had him for a DJ because a family friend was MC, but I’m confident he’d make a brilliant MC too. He was professional, nothing was too much of an issue and he was very easy to work with. We did hesitate over his prices for a tiny while, but there’s a reason why he’s that price – he’s top quality and I’d hire him again in a second. Among many things he did, he hooked my husband and celebrant up to subtle mics, worked with our wedding singer and guitar player to get the sound perfect and got our walk back up the aisle timed seamlessly halfway through the track (as we requested). Our first dance song wasn’t well-known but he already had it (or sourced it without questions) and his playlist is huge – playing our guests requests all night. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without him.

Mike did a fantastic job at our wedding. Our families love to party, so getting the right music was absolutely essential for our day. All I had to do was give Mike a few favourite song names and he took care of it. He read the crowd perfectly, we had some relatives up on the dancefloor that we had never seen dance before! He took care of everything from ceremony music to reception, we didn’t even have to think about the music as it was all sorted by Mike. Our guests commented on how fantastic the music was, a night to remember.

We just wanted to thank you for all the work, time and effort you put into making our wedding a success.

We had so many compliments from our guests about how smooth everything was during the day and night. We had such a great night dancing and enjoying the atmosphere, the music choice was spot on and your ability to read the crowd amazed us -  so thank you!

Not only was Mike warm, funny, and professional - he maintained a friendly causal atmosphere while keeping everything running smoothly and on time throughout our day and night - he even saved the day a couple of times!

He was amazing throughout the planning process and was instrumental in helping is create the perfect day for our wedding.

Mike was amazing!

After having our initial meeting with Mike we knew we should look no further for the DJ and MC at our wedding. Mike was very accommodating and nothing was too much to ask for him. He easily incorporated a couple of traditions from my home country and even found a Russian song for the father and bride’s dance that we had forgotten to send to Mike ourselves.

Our reception could not have gone smoother with Mike giving some pointers to the guests, announcing speeches, playing light music during dinner and our favorite songs during party time.

We are forever thankful to Mike for making our wedding so easy and stress free!!

Mike was absolutely amazing! so professional but made the night so fun. he listened to our requests and the music was absolutely perfect! there were a few last minute changes and Mike was always calm and organised and sorted everything out so I could relax and enjoy the day he kept in constant contact with me before the wedding and on the day.. just awesome, highly recommend!

Mike was absolutely fantistic during our wedding. I can’t thank him enough for being so professional, organized and helpful about the whole thing. The music during the ceremony was very clear and of good quality. He was a fantastic MC and the whole ceremony and reception just flowed so beautifully and without any hitch, thanks to him! We also had an amazing time dancing the whole night through and I appreciated how he was so open to song requests which my friends are really fond of doing! Mike was AMAZING!

Nothing was too much trouble he was both our DJ and MC and was brilliant at both. He was so calm and friendly, everybody at the wedding raved about him. He even wrangled the family for the family shots.

I highly recommend Mike to everybody! His music choices for the dance floor were perfect! (with the added bonus of requests on the night).

Look no more if you are after an MC/DJ for your wedding, Mike is the man. He is so calm and patient and very easy going gentleman. He’s voice is to die for, he’s got this radio voice, it was just exceptional. I only met Mike 2 days before our wedding and he was very accommodating to our special taste in music. WOW! Mike is just fabulous.  Mike was responsible for the music at our wedding from before our guests, right through until the end of the night and he did an absolutely excellent job! During the planning of our wedding music Mike gave us invaluable suggestions and ideas as to how the make the day flow and how to use the music to create a wonderful atmosphere.  Mike is a true professional, nothing was ever too much trouble and everthing was done with a smile on his face!  Thank you Mike for all you did to make our wedding day so special and for helping to keep me calm too!
