We are based overseas and booked Wendy from afar and on a whim.  However, right from the first Skype conversation we were ecstatic with our decision!  Wendy is everything you hope for when finding a celebrant, friendly, enthusiastic, professional, funny and incredibly interested in you as people and as a couple.  Despite our distance Wendy did all she could to ensure it was easy for us to prepare what we needed.  She gave us some great resources to work from which made the whole process a lot easier. Right from the beginning we knew that we had selected the best choice for a wedding celebrant. Wendy was professional and easy to deal with and very quick to reply to any questions we had.

Once we had chosen her as our celebrant she supplied us with a great resource book and a questionnaire that we had to fill out. Being an analyst and engineer words were not our strong suit, however Wendy meet with us to ensure she had adequate info to begin drafting our personalised ceremony. When we received our first draft we were blown away at how well it was written and how personal it all was.

Wendy was very open to our suggestions of wanting to incorporate a few members of the family in the day (with readings and the candle lighting ceremony) and did so perfectly.

We had such an amazing Wedding Day.  Deciding to marry overseas is a big decision and choosing a celebrant without being able to meet is a big step.  Right from the first email we decided that Wendy was the celebrant for us.  She was tireless in her efforts, giving us choices for our ceremony and creatively writing our personalized service after sending a package of options and questionnaires to get to know us and our thoughts. This made our service very special.  We had such a fun day and have so many wonderful memories and photos to support it.  Wendy’s vibrant personality and energy brought our service to life.  It wouldn’t have been the same without her.  We were blessed.

OMG what a wonderful lady Wendy is… Flexibility well she does Yoga - but seriously we moved our wedding date 3 times (including Xmas day) and she was happy to accomodate us on every occasion… Wendy went above and beyond in being able to allow us to design a wedding ceremony that was totally personal and completely individual - She was very professional in her dealings with our whole wedding group and she looked amazing on the day - even down to asking me to choose what she should wear - clothes I said - she wore a wonderful neutral coloured suit and looked gorgeous.  We held our wedding at Wendy’s amazing property which looked out to Mount Maunganui, she has a lovely pergola and various areas around her garden to be used in great photos - lots of box hedging and iceberg roses lining the boundaries - the setting was remarked on by most of our wedding attendees.  Wendy has just dropped off our paperwork for the Ceremony in a wonderful keepsake binder (which we will treasure)... I would highly highly recommend Wendy to any couple looking to get married who want a professional, flexible wonderfull lady who will look after your ceremony as if it were her own daughters.

Wendy orgainsed the wedding of my friends who travelled from the U.S.A. to help build our house for Habitats for Humanity.  Not even Connie and Chip knew that when they would be in New Zealand that they would be getting married.  Their spontaneity was couragous and what they both needed most of to pull off their wedding in 5 days was an incrediably reliable and organised celebrant.  Wendy has these atributes in abundance and she mananged to make the arrangements (including sourcing legal documentation from the U.S.A) look effortless.  This coupled with the ability to bring forth from the couple what they truly wanted for their special day was truly remarkable.  This has to be the most enjoyable wedding I have ever been to because it was deeply moving and special without any fuss.  It was so remarkable that during the ceremony which was held on the beach two ora whales swam in to check it out, then casually swam off.  What more could you ask for?

Our day was amazing! Unforgettably magical! We had a Fairies themed wedding and Wendy was like our Fairy Godmother - guiding us the whole way, from start to finish (we hadn’t done this before & didn’t have a clue!). She gave us hints, advice and ideas beforehand, and then, on the day, she kept us steady on our feet as we stood there, visibly shaking with the nerves of this incredible event, & calmly lead us step by step so that the whole ceremony went off without a hitch!! After 10 years together, Rohan and I were married on 4th March 2011. The lead up to our Wedding was amazing….we enjoyed every minute! Wendy made creating our vows very easy and they were so personal and from the heart. Our rehearsal day was so much fun…with a bridal party of 10 it could have been a disaster but Wendy kept the boys in their places!! On The Day, 20 minutes out from the ceremony the sky opened up and it bucketed down!! Everyone was ushered inside the marquee; my dream of being married outside was slipping away…then as we nearly arrived at the venue…it stopped raining!! Wendy and Rohan helped usher everyone outside again for the ceremony to begin.
