We had made the decision early on in our wedding planning process to not get videography for our wedding.  We would instead put all of our money towards amazing photography.  But less than 2 months before our wedding, one of my closest friends convinced us that we needed to at least look into these services, especially since we live in California, and the wedding was being held on Waiheke Island (NZ).  He made the argument that this would be a way to share our day with all of those who could not be there with us, including all of my grandparents.  And he argued that photos do not capture the important things like your vows or speeches, and a lot of the emotion.  All I can say is Thank You to him for convincing us to hire a videographer for our wedding.  We looked at numerous options (about 6 or 7), one of which was White Video being recommended by my now sister-in-law who used them for her wedding years ago.  And in the end we decided on White Video because they were amazing to work with just through emails, and it just felt like the right fit.  Plus, I’m a sucker for quick responses and Jolyon and his assistant both seemed so very friendly.  We weren’t expecting to spend as much as we did on Video (we ended up getting his largest package), but I wouldn’t change that for the world.  We have had so many friends and family enjoy all of the teaser clips and short videos that Jolyon has sent us, it’s been amazing.  Mike and I have cried numerous times since watching it.  And everyone who has seen it so far LOVES it and has brought many happy tears, especially for those who weren’t able to be there with us to celebrate.  I think you were one of our best “wedding decisions” and I am now a true believer that Wedding Videography is more important at a wedding than the actual Photography.  It can capture so much more of your special day than you will ever realize.  So again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts Jolyon.  Working with you was a pleasure, and your work is absolutely amazing.  We couldn’t be happier or more pleased with everything.

I booked WHITE Wedding Video for my wedding after seeing the amazing video highlights from my friends wedding in January 2011. The whole thing captured the romance and essence of the day which brought tears to my eyes. I WANT THAT was what I said and proceeded to book them.

Then to my surprise after entering an engagement shoot competition through WHITE and Dillon photography (see other review) my fiance and I won an engagement highlight video.

We decided to have our video as a Save the Date to send to our friends and family. Right from the word go, Jolyon was friendly, professional and easy to be around. He listened to what we wanted and to the type of people we were and helped create the vision we wanted for our video. He was fantastic to work with and patiently directed to get the shots he wanted. We had a fun day and the results do not disappoint. I am amazed by the video, and how awesome it is. It brings back to life so many fun and happy memories of that day. All our guests have commented on how fantastic and creatively done the video is. We owe it all to Jolyon, he is passionate about his work and it shows! Thank you for making our engagement extra special and creating such a unique save the date. I can’t wait for you to shoot our wedding in april!

White Wedding are awesome.

Before the day Jolyon provided me with addition information & made an effort to find out about the special quirky extras we had planned. He also helped to put me at easy & elevate some of my stress too.

On the day he was super organised & captured every single moment as it happened - happy, sad, joyful, relaxed & funny. He also went the extra mile staying later than planned to capture our fireworks.

During post production he kept us well informed of the videos development, which include a “Teaser” of what was to come.

The final ‘Treasured Moments’ DVD & the ‘Highlights’ are truly amazing, a work of art, we could not have wished for better. Again Jolyon went the extra mile but personalising the DVD, the cover & the bag we received them all in.

Jolyon’s video & editing skills are second to none & are only out done by his professionalism, attention to detail & his drive to do the best for his client.
