We had Oliver Lee senior photographer as our photographer on the day. He was the highlight of service we received from dreamlife. There were some admin hassles and a few confusions but once Oliver was on board (he was our substitute last min) everything was fantastic. He was so incredibly professional, and easy going. All the guests remarked about how wonderful he was and our celebrant couldnt stop raving about him! He is just such a lovely person and so experienced and talented. Our photos looked amazing and he does run his own independent entity for videos and photos and we cannot recommend him enough! We would rate the service 5 stars simply because of Oliver!

Choosing a photographer for our wedding day was not something we took lightly at all. You only get one chance to capture the groom’s face when he first sees the bride, the first kiss and all the other precious and funny brief moments that happen on the day. So you need to have a huge amount of trust in the photographer you hire to capture all those moments, so that you are completely relaxed and enjoying them as they happen.

We found this trust in the team at Dreamlife.

From the first email to first meeting them, they were warm, highly professional and just as excited as we were. We found the perfect package for us and were very surprised at the value for money. The quality and quantity of what we got was outstanding for the price we paid! Our photographer was excited about the ideas we came up with, as well as throwing in a few of his own.

On the day, despite being 15 minutes late (due to traffic), our photographer did not stop the whole time! He was continuously on the go, capturing everything and anything. The best part was, my groom & I do not remember seeing up at all! Somehow he was right in the midst of everything, but we never felt that he was in the way at all. It wasn’t until the posed shots after the ceremony that I even remember seeing him! This was so special to us because it meant all our focus was on each other, which was perfectly what we wanted In the posed photos he directed us really well to create beautiful shots. He even planked on the sand with waves coming up to him for several minutes at a time, to capture the perfect beach shots that we wanted! 100% commitment for sure!

The end result is amazing! We LOVE our photos and our albums. They are beautiful and more than we ever imagined we would get. We would recommend Dreamlife to any couples getting married.

From the moment we stepped into the Dreamlife office everybody was so helpful and full of ideas.  They made everything so easy and nothing was a problem.  On the Day Stanley (our photographer) was fantastic, we had a large bridal party along with small children and he had us all sorted!!  We had alot of fun when we were having our photos taken, it was great!!  When it came to getting our photos printed they helped with ideas etc as we couldnt decide and any changes we wanted to our enlargements/album etc was never a hassle, they were so accommodating.  We can’t thank the enough and we are beyond happy with our photos, they turned out better than we could have expected!!!!!

Everything from the start was smooth, Oliver was awesome. Really entertaining and kept the wedding party alive and in laughter. Most of the time was sent laughing. We really enjoyed having him as our photographer. he was fast and efficient and almost was like he wasnt there at all. After that we received our photos in a timely manner and dreamlife produced A grade photos and again in a timely manner. It was a great experiance working with them

Dreamlife were amazing, they listened to our requirements and having two weddings they made sure everything was perfect for each. What can I say ! Amazing !! Amazing !!!Amazing !!!!

When we first came to studio, Kent showed us the sample albums, they are great. You know, it is hard to select your photographer, I mean the first inspection. So we point out what we like and what we don’t like, then we met up with Jack, close to the wedding day, he is so funny and nice to talk to.

On our wedding day, he worked so hard. he even showed me the images on his expensive cameras, they are great.

Now we had all our products as listed on our contract, both of us love our albums. Highly Recommended

If you are like us, attracted by the photos on their website, you can expect a big let down.

If you manage to get the photographer who took the photos you like on the website (very unlikely) that would be awesome, because we did not get to choose which photographer we want according to the photos we like from their website and sample albums in their studio.

- You don’t get to choose who is shooting your big day. In fact, you only get to know who that person is a few weeks before your wedding. If you realise you don’t like the photographer, then too bad. You just have to live with it.

- If you ask who took a certain photo hanging in their studio or on their website, you will not get an answer. So you should not expect your photos would look like the ones they show you.

- Communication was really a problem. One person would tell you one story, and you would get a totally different one later on.

- They may not do what they promise even if it’s agreed before you pay your deposit and written on the contract. (It was agreed we would get the original digital files in “RAW” format, but was later told “it’s rude to ask for this” by the photographer after we paid the deposit)

- Efficiency was another killer. It took them ONE & A HALF month to transfer the photos from the camera to a couple of CDs for our initial selection (really? However they gave us a free canvas to make up for this). We received our album almost 7 (seven) months after our wedding.

- Photo quality was average. However, we do have to give credit to the post-production team and “Photoshop”.  The album looks good compared to the 3000 un-touched photos we received for the selection, 1/3 of which were out of focus and another 1/3 was pretty much repeats of the remaining 1/3 (considering their camera can take more than 6-7 shots continuously per second). We were shocked when we first saw them, and we really struggled to make up a selection of 300 out of 3000.

It is definitely value for money, we had the option of choosing the package that was in our budget and the guys were all very friendly and provided excellent services. Even though our photographer didn’t speak english as a first language we found him to be really easy to talk with & he was great helping us plan our photo schedule since we were pretty clueless.

I was really happy on the day that he got their on time and everything pretty much ran to schedule.

We would strongly recommend dreamlife photos & video to anyone getting married.

Sometimes hard to understand as English is their second language.  They were sometimes pushy and didnt quite understand what the bridal party wanted.

The end result is that we had too many photos to deal with and most of them looked average which was very dissapointing.  The photos at the studio were very creative so we thought the bridal photos would be like that too.

Brides to be, do your research and make sure you know what your really in for!

This company is DEF value for money.  They provide a detailed outline of what each item will cost so there are no hidden agendas. They were punctual also so I was wasn’t left in a panic.

My husband and I were very pleased with the photo’s we received. We have been slack and haven’t got our album together or picked our photo’s but the unedited photo’s dont really need any touch ups
