Deirdre was easy going and brilliant at communicating even though I was in a different country. She put up with my many changing requests and was able to give me the look I was after on my wedding day. We contacted Road To Beauty to help us with an international photo shoot. From the initial contact with the owner - Deidre Read, the correspondence and professionalism was outstanding. We had a tight schedule and a very particular brief we wanted achieved. The whole way through we found this company to be honest, on time, and the outcome for the photographic shots were of an extreme high standard. The Makeup Artist and talented hair stylists we had with us for the duration of the shoot were professional and fantastic at their jobs. If you are getting married you have to chose ‘Road to Beauty’ (RTB) Deidre and her team are just fantastic, they use top quality products like MAC, and make you look naturally beautiful. I would 190% reccomend RTB to every bride!!

She loves how it looks in photos we’ve seen and sees how it brings out her eyes and also went with her outfit. Absolutely fabulous. I went to Deirdre for around 4-5 facials before my wedding to get my skin looking amazing, and she also did all of our bridal spray tans for the day. The best thing about Deirdre’s work is she really listens to what you want and you can tell she cares about the end result. The spray tans were absolutely perfect, using St Tropez, a beautiful natural even colour so that we all just looked naturally toned and stunning without getting that tell tale ‘fake tan’ look. Living locally in Queenstown, I have tried most of the available spray tanning places and Deirdre’s are by far the best and the best value for money. She comes to your house or accommodation making the whole process easy and hassle free. Just a lovely person to deal with, very professional and really knows her stuff. 100% recommend.

I was married in Central Otago but organised my wedding from Sydney and could not have had the amazing day I had with out the support from Deidre. 
She was so easy to deal with over email and when we met she was very patient doing several trials making sure I got the make up exactly as I wanted. 
On the day both Deidre and Rika (hair) were amazing, I had four bridesmaids who just looked stunning and I couldn’t have been happier with my own make-up and hair.  Both made us all really comfortable - I was a very nervous bride!!

I have actually used Road to Beauty twice now - one for my wedding shoot for a magazine as a bride, and one for another wedding shoot where I was directing the shoot. On both occasions I was thrilled with the results - but not only the amazing result of the make-up, but also the attitude and sincerity and FUN of Deirdre from Road to Beauty! She made everyone feel very comfortable and completed several models quickly and professionally!

Deidre and Shannon were such a fantastic part of our big day!
They came out to us which meant we had such a relaxed and fun morning.
Everyone looked fantastic but I have to say that my Mums hair and make up was like a complete makeover she looked unbelievable but still herself! My new Mother in Law was also so impressed with her hair do that she now has brought her own straightners and styles it the same! You both just had such an amazing talent of making us all look like beautiful versions of ourselves rather than something overdone from a magazine!
