Photo Inspiration: Natalie & Brett’s windy Welly wedding
Benek Lisefski • April 05, 2011
This is part of an ongoing series of photo and video inspiration posts featuring real kiwi weddings beautifully captured by our talented local photographers.
Bride & Groom: Natalie & Brett
Location: The Boat Shed, Wellington
Date: 23 Jan 2011
Photographer: WE DO Photography & Design
Nat & Brett got married on one of those surprisingly rare Wellington days - atrocious, unrelenting sideways rain and wind. However, the weather barely phased them as we used parasols in the middle of the road (between the public bus schedule) and snuck into the local train station where the guards let us use the platform and an empty train carriage.
I love the couple: they’re quirky, they’re fun (they shook hands for their first kiss!) and they’re just gorgeous.
The evening at the beautiful Boat Shed rounded off the festivities with some hilarious speeches and some semi-professional looking dancing. Top notch!
Thanks WE DO Photography & Design for the beautiful submission. We’ll feature a new wedding again next week! Photographers, if you want to be featured please see more info here.
