Charlemagne Lodge is available for your wedding photos inside or out. The adjoining scenic reserve where guests can explore is ideal for wedding photos, as is the orchard.
The Kaimai ranges in the distance and the rural outlook in the foreground make for a gorgeous panoramic setting. In the evenings enjoy awe-inspiring sunsets over the majestic ranges to the west.

We live in Perth and when we chose Charlemagne Lodge as our venue there wasn’t that many choices in Tauranga, the Lodge tick all the right boxes.
The venues professionalism was good but when we wanted to bring in our own props and stylist we felt things got a little tense as they didn’t seem to understand what sort of wedding we wanted to create. On the day though everything ran smoothly.
The reception hall could do with a bit of an overhaul, particularly as the wedding industry is getting very competitive and more and more brides want to create different styles worthy of magazines. Its a shame as Charlemagne Lodge could be really amazing, the grounds are absolutely stunning and the Lodge that we stayed in has that old world charm that was beautiful and very comfortable. If the hall had a bit of an update to bring it inline with other venues that have opened up in the last 6 to 12 months in Tauranga, they would do really well from this.
All in all we had the most amazing day of our lives. Everything came together on the day and worked out for the best. Thanks again Charlemagne Lodge!!
